7 Core Training Modules
Module 1: What is a mediator, role of mediator and Scriptural Foundations of Mediation
Module 2: The art of Communication, Active Listening & Discernment
Module 3: Trauma Awareness & Emotional Safety
Module 4: Conflict Resolution Techniques
Module 5: The spiritual dimension of mediation and healing of relationships
Module 6: Facilitating Restorative Agreements
After completing the first six modules there will be a theory test requiring minimum of 80% pass
Module 7: Practical sessions
Each mediator in training placed in a group of four to practise. Each has ten sessions as a mediator, ten as an observer and ten role-playing either victim of perpetrator and all up had thirty practical sessions before applying to trainer to observe two sessions of different scenarios where trainer grades and determines if ready to be certified.
These sessions can be done either online or physically present. It is useful to commence the training with a team of 4. If you do not a team the trainers and instructors will help place you within a team.
For highly motivated individuals the course could be done within 13 weeks ( 3 hours per week)
Weekly evening session covering two modules x 3
3 weekly sessions in 3 roles of mediator/observe or conflict role play for ten weeks
For those who would like to do at slower pace over 36 weeks
6 x weekly sessions with one module per week
30 weekly sessions to cover ten sessions in each of roles of mediator/observer and conflict role play

The training is valued at $1000 however the first two trainings are subsidized while it is new to $330 that can be paid weekly at a rate you can afford.
Next course commencing: Wednesday 12 November 7-9pm on zoom for 4 weeks of theory, then can do the practical sessions at a time that suits you.
Plan on starting a new course every two months with next planned to commence mid January 2026.
